Purple Potion #9

Ah!! Now this is a purple color I can fall for!

Sally Hansen Purple Potion is a beautiful plum color of purple overflowing with blue shimmer!

The blue shimmer turns this into a glorious violet color when it flashes right.

It is my favorite out of this collection so far, and a color that I will be using again!

Here are a few inside by the window pictures. Not sunlight, but it is still pretty in any light source.

This was a bit more sheer than I was expecting, and while the color is amazing, the application was the problem child out of these. It took four coats to fill in all the bald areas that kept showing up. But it was such a nice color, that I really did not mind.

Finally the sun comes out, so I can get a few images of this out in the sun. The blue shimmer really shows itself off when Purple Potion gets to shine in the sun.

Now we come to the sad part. On the night before I was going to complete the final Sally Hansen I bought, I snapped off three toe nails and the tip of one of my nails. So it is now flat and not pointed. As I do not like uneven nails, I have to shape them up again tonight.

That means My nails are about to become shorter again. =(

The upside is that it was just the very tip and not the whole nail. That Is why I am in love with Nail Tek Foundation II! It is a ridge filler, but if I do not wear a coat under my polish, I can tell!

First off, it keeps my nails from staining. Always a good thing when you have dark and vampy polisg you love. It really does what it should, being a ridge filler and all, and the most important thing to me, is that I can tell a diffrence in the streanght of my nails when I have it on, compared to when I do not. Even another ridge filler or base coat does not do for me what Nail Tec Foundation II does.

On another note all together, I have been bugging my local Sally Beauty store, and I am told that they should be getting China Glaze Fortune teller in this Thursday, so I will hopefully get the nails shapped up and painted all pretty for a post soon!

I do not know If China Glaze Matte Magic will be in the shipment Fortune Teller is supposed be be on, but if it is, I will be grabbing up a bottle of that as well!

Power to the... Fuchsia?

Up now is the pink in the ones I picked up, Sally Hansen Fuchsia Power. It was once again, a dark day when pictures were taken, but the color here is not too far off from the true color.

I really was planning on doing a Konad with this one, but once on, I really felt like purple, so after I got it finished, I took it right back off again to play with another color. ^ ^;

Thus the reason for not cleaning up.

Fuchsia Power is a darker pink creme and the application was not too bad. Still had to watch out for the long brush handle, but it only took 3 coats there to get it bottle color.

Toes make an appearance here as well!

I think this may have been a really good color, if I liked pinks alot. But once it gets out of the bright, hot, bubble gun spectrum, the likeability factor starts to go downhill for me. But I also think that this one, while I was to impatent to get to the purple, would have made a a good Konad base color. Alas, I need to pick up a good black creme, as I am out, so the half formed idea was cut short.
